Shalgam ki Sabzi
- Take 5 to 6 chopped turnip, half tablespoon of sugar, one tomato and onion chopped, small Ginger, One green chilli and 4 garlic paste. Dry spices and oil.
- Heat the oil in a pressure cooker and once it’s hot add cumin seeds in the oil.
- Then at the ginger , garlic paste, and after 2 minute add onions and green chilli.
- Once the onions are fried add a turmeric powder and red chilli powder
- Mix it well and then add chopped tomatoes. Cook the tomatoes still they start melting and become soft.
- Add the chopped turnips in the cooker.
- Add salt to taste and a little bit of sugar.
- Close the lid of the pressure cooker, and I allow it to give five to six whistles.
- After the whistles open and mash them slightly.
- Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves and serve.
